A few months into the pandemic, a meme started to circulate featuring seven female world leaders, asking what countries with the best coronavirus responses have in common. The answer was women. Researchers at the University of Liverpool and Reading decided to investigate if this was in fact true. The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry has more.
