A few weeks ago, we heard from Brayan Guevara. He’s a 19-year-old Afro Latino college student who will be voting for the first time this year in North Carolina. He is studying to become a teacher and says his greatest life influence is his mother Nodia Mena. Mena is from Honduras and also a teacher. She taught her son to always be informed about politics and to always ask questions.
