Japan lists Hawaii safe for travel

Japanese tourists can now travel to Hawaii after the government designated the state safe for its citizens during the ongoing pandemic. The announcement makes Hawaii the only US state to be approved. It could provide a boost to Hawaii’s tourism industry, which has been devastated since the coronavirus crisis began. But would a Japan-Hawaii travel bubble work?
