Over the weekend, protesters across Belgium vandalized statues of King Leopold II, the 19th-century king who led the brutal colonization of Congo and was responsible for millions of deaths. A petition to remove statutes of him throughout Brussels has gained more than 60,000 signatures. Host Marco Werman speaks with Belgian-Rwandan artist and architect Laura Nsengiyumva, who has addressed these issues in her work.
