On Wednesday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with Nathan Law, one of Hong Kong’s leading pro-democracy activists. They met in London at the US ambassador’s residence, and Law spoke with Pompeo about China’s new national security law, China’s human rights violations, and the future of Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement. He also warned Pompeo of Chinese meddling in Hong Kong’s upcoming Legislative Council elections. Host Marco Werman speaks with Law, who joins him from London.
