Baltic nations move to ban Russian broadcaster RT

In the Baltics, you won’t be able to watch RT anymore. This week, Lithuania followed Latvia’s move late last month to ban the state-controlled Russian broadcaster — formerly known as Russia Today — because of its alleged ties to an EU-sanctioned Kremlin media executive, Dmitry Kiselev. Estonia’s government said in a statement that it may also do the same. Host Carol Hills discusses the ban with Solvita Denisa-Liepniece, an assistant professor at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Latvia.
