More than 13,000 Red Army soldiers participated in Russia’s postponed World War II Victory Day celebrations today. Russian President Vladimir Putin postponed V-Day celebrations scheduled for May 9 because of the coronavirus pandemic. The holiday took place ahead of a key constitutional vote that would allow Putin to stay in power for two more terms.
