India’s restaurants, stores and houses of worship are reopening, even as the coronavirus cases on the subcontinent climb. This week, India recorded the third-most new cases in the world, behind Brazil and the US. Bhramar Mukherjee, a professor of biostatistics at the University of Michigan, has been modeling India’s outbreak and shares her worries with The World’s Marco Werman.
