George Floyd’s killing reminds many French of Adama Traoré death

This past Tuesday over 20,000 French people took to the streets in Paris, and other major cities in France, defying coronavirus safety measures put in place by the government. George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis reignited France’s fight for justice for Adama Traoré, a 24-year-old French-Malian who died in police custody in 2016. The World’s Lucy Martirosyan spoke with the Traroé family lawyer, and talks about the case with Host Marco Werman.
