Hurricane season in the Atlantic starts today, and climate scientists are expecting it’s going to be a busy one, with up to 19 named storms this year, way above average. Millions of people are still recovering from last year’s devastating storms in the Caribbean, and now there’s COVID-19 to contend with. The World’s Marco Werman speaks with Gina Knowles, who runs the Head Knowles foundation, a hurricane relief organization in the Bahamas, about the season ahead.
