US Supreme Court ruling on Sudan

The World

The US Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Monday that Sudan must pay the victims of two 1998 terrorist bombings in Africa more than $4 billion. The attacks were carried out by al-Qaeda and they killed hundreds of people and wounded several thousand. As The World’s Halima Gikandi reports, Sudan is working to be removed from the US list of state sponsors of terrorism.
