COP26 climate talks postponed to 2021

The world’s annual climate summit in Glasgow will be delayed until next year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Niklas Höhne, co-founder of the NewClimate Institute in Germany, says the level of focus needed for a successful COP would not have been possible with the ongoing pandemic. He hopes the strong government interventions for coronavirus can provide inspiration for what’s possible at the 2021 summit.
