Citizen scientists get busy while locked down

As the world locks down to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, online citizen science projects are seeing a spike in participation. From transcribing 200-year-old rainfall data, to counting penguins, to helping locate distant planets, people are connecting on their computers to help answer researchers’ questions.
