Debra McKenna lost her then-boyfriend Shawn McKenna’s high school class ring in a department store bathroom in Portland, Maine, 47 years ago. It wasn’t a deal-breaker for their relationship; Debra and Shawn later married and spent 40 years together. Shawn passed away in 2017, and the lost class ring was all but forgotten.
