This year, American-born, Berlin-based Christine Sun Kim became the first Deaf Asian American woman to sign the national anthem at the Super Bowl, one of the world’s most watched TV events. She’s an artist and performer whose work has been displayed in museums around the world. She works with musical notation and sound. Her series, "Off the Charts," is on display at MIT's List Visual Arts Center outside of Boston. The World's Lucy Martirosyan was there.
