The Trump administration promised to stop separating families at the US-Mexico border. But it’s still happening. WNYC’s Beth Fertig tells the story of a Honduran father who was separated from his daughters at the border because he has HIV — even though HIV is no longer considered a communicable disease that can stop someone from entering the country.
