Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was sentenced to life in prison. He was convicted in February of running a murderous Mexico-based drug cartel that flooded the US with cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana. Marco Werman speaks with reporter Deborah Bonello, who has covered Latin American drug cartels extensively to see how they’ve changed and adapted in the absence of “El Chapo.”
