The US is pushing back on a new tax law in France that's aimed at big tech firms — the usual suspects of Apple, Facebook, Google. The 3% tax is on sales generated in France by those big firms, even though the companies are headquartered outside of France. The Trump administration has ordered an inquiry into the move — which could result in retaliatory tariffs.
