Youssou N’dour has a new album out titled, “History.” Given his own role in Senegalese history, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s a reflection on politics. But it’s a musical retrospective, featuring old N’dour compositions that he’s updated. Marco Werman spoke to N’dour recently before a gig in New York.
