Regardless of when and how Brexit finally happens, the effect of it is already felt. Six months before the Brexit referendum a few years ago, Andreas Goldthau signed a contract with the University of London to be a professor of International Relations. He still works there, but as a native German, Goldthau and his wife had to make some hard choices about their future.
