At the heart of South Sudan's brutal civil war lies a bitter rivalry between President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his former deputy Riek Machar. But this week, the two men tried to move past their differences by attending a spiritual retreat at the Vatican. The BBC's religion editor, Martin Bashir, was there to witness it.
