Earlier this week, Venezuelan journalist Luz Mely Reyes saw one of her colleagues, Luis Carlos Diaz, taken from his home, detained by Venezuela's intelligence officers. He was accused of taking part in a plot to cause a nationwide blackout. He’s one of dozens of journalists detained in Venezuela since the start of 2019.
