Abdalaziz Alhamza first took to the streets of Raqqa to protest the regime of Bashar al-Assad in 2012. When ISIS gained the upper hand in his hometown, he protested the rule of jihadi extremists. Alhamza tells host Carol Hills while he’s relieved to see ISIS finally being pushed out of its final strongholds, he think the international community has betrayed Syria’s true advocates for democracy.
