Shaul Bakhash was on lunch break in Tehran on January 16th, 1979 when he heard beeping horns and hoots and hollers as word spread that the Shan had left Iran. Bakash, a retired professor at George Mason University, talks to Marco Werman about the feelings of elation mixed with concern on that momentous day.
