The practice of female genital mutilation is condemned around the world. But this week, a US judge struck down the federal law against female genital mutilation, or FGM, saying it should be handled by states. Anti-FGM activist Mariya Taher tells Carol Hills this ruling could give encouragement to those who subject their daughters to FGM in the shadows.
