The architectural style known as brutalism spread to many parts of the world in the 1950s and 60s, featuring large buildings constructed in blocks of exposed concrete. But one of the best examples is right down the road from our Boston studios. Reporter Edgar B. Herwick III tells us how Boston’s city hall became a global icon for this often-maligned architectural style.
