France grieves victims of Nice church knife attack; Greta moves protests online again; Taiwan military officers have same-sex wedding

French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has said that the country is in a war against Islamists and can expect more militant attacks on its soil, climate activist Greta Thunberg announced Friday that she was taking her protests online once again as Sweden's COVID-19 cases surge, and in Taiwan, two women military officers made history by marrying their same-sex civilian partners in a mass wedding.

Anti-terrorism police investigating knife attack in Paris

In Paris, near the former office of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, at least two people were stabbed Friday, with one suffering serious injuries. And, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has apologized for the killing of a South Korean government worker who was shot and burned after crossing into the North just off the shore. Also, Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for a cyber truce between Moscow and Washington.
