Walking on golden water — Christo's magical 'Floating Piers'

For this art installation, shoes are optional. During 16 days — through July 3 — visitors to Italy’s Lake Iseo will get to experience the latest artwork from Christo. "The Floating Piers" is comprised of nearly two miles of modular docks and more than 62 square miles of shimmering dahlia-yellow fabric.

Thousands of people were instantly killed after the US dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. What life looks like amid the Iranian diaspora in 'Tehranto'


In 2009, photographer Javad Parsa was forced to leave his native Iran. In his new life, he's met with many other Iranians, and developed a project to document their lives. They all have different reasons for leaving their mother country. Parsa just returned from the Canadian metropolis often referred to as "Tehranto."
