PRI is looking for a senior journalist and online news leader to run the digital home and social properties of PRI and PRI’s The World. PRI.org was recently relaunched as a responsive, Drupal7 site aimed at engaging its domestic and international audience in global news, issues and cultures.
The managing editor would continue the rapid growth of our digital and social audiences and lead an 8-person digital journalism team. This new role coordinates assignments with newsroom leaders and manages editorial partnerships with organizations ranging from the BBC and CBC to Global Voices, Frontline, Living on Earth, The Takeaway and Science Friday.
We are seeking a seasoned journalist who knows international coverage and has a track record of managing, and growing, digital properties. We need someone who can handle strategy as well as manage the day-to-day publishing of stories, slideshows, videos, blogs, graphics and user contributions.

This position is located in The World's Boston newsroom, housed within WGBH's vibrant, LEED-certified green studios in the burgeoning “Boston Landing” development in Brighton, Massachusetts.
