Jason Margolis joined the staff of The World full-time in the spring of 2006 and had been reporting freelance stories for the program since 2001. He has reported stories from Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and Central America.
Prior to joining The World, Jason worked in Sacramento for KQED Public Radio and was a newspaper reporter with The Seattle Times, where he was introduced to "Northwest irony." His reporting focuses on environmental issues, immigration, and politics.
Jason is originally from the San Francisco area, but now calls Boston home with his wife Amy and baby boy, Charley.
