The Forgotten Plague: Malaria

Each year, malaria sickens as many as half a billion people - and kills more than a million - in poor countries around the world, yet in the United States it is largely a forgotten disease. The World looks at new hope and new challenges in the global fight against this mosquito-borne plague.


This series won the Public Communications Award of the American Society for Microbiology
