Catherine Murphy runs The World's web site, www.theworld.org. She maintains all content and coding on the web site and is responsible for seeking out new technologies to improve the site's functionality.

Catherine began her career in web design in the mid-1990's in Washington, DC. She returned to her native Boston and worked as an online help developer in the private sector. Before coming to The World, she was a freelance web designer and content manager for several companies.
