No peace in Gaza (5:00)

A six-month ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, expired last Friday...and not coincidentally...violence is on the rise. Hamas has fired mortars and rockets from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel. Israel has struck back with air raids. Anchor Lisa Mullins gets the latest from The World's Quil Lawrence.

Jamaica captured world attention in 1988 when it sent a bobsled team to the Winter Olympics in Calgary. Now Jamaica's beloved bobsled team is trying to qualify for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia. Anchor Katy Clark checks in with coach Wayne Thomas.

The "other" Bethlehem (5:00)

Bethlehem in what's now the West Bank is considered the birthplace of Jesus. But an Israeli archeologist has spent years excavating another town of Bethlehem, this one in Galilee, where he's uncovered an inn, a monastery, and a large church built with a cave under the altar. The World's Quil Lawrence travels to the two Bethlehems.

The World's Jason Margolis updates the situation in the West African nation of Guinea. The country's longtime president died on Monday, and an attempted coup followed. Guinea had been a relatively stable country in an otherwise unstable part of the world.

Survivors of a 1972 plane crash in the Andes have told their own story in a new film. They felt other efforts to recount their ordeal missed the essence of what they endured during the incident - and after.
