Brazil wants to be energy independent. One thing it's doing toward that end is drilling for oil and natural gas in the Amazon rainforest. The World's Alex Gallafent visited the Urucu energy exploration facility in the Amazon and sent this report.

Opposition leaders in Zimbabwe are calling on the United Nations to send armed peacekeepers to their country. Many supporters of the opposition have been threatened and killed in the run-up to this weekend's presidential runoff. But Zimbabwe's ambassador to the United Nations, Boniface Chidyausiku, tells anchor Lisa Mullins his country has no need for international intervention.

A Jamaican school for troubled boys is known for producing some of the country's best known musicians in the 60s and 70s. Today, the Alpha Boys School is still teaching boys music and providing some order in their lives. The World's Marco Werman tells the story.
