A joint African-UN force took over peacekeeping duties in the Darfur region of Sudan today. Observers hope this will begin to change the course of a war that has killed 200,000 Sudanese and forced more than two million from their homes. But, as The World's Katy Clark reports, it will take several months before the new force is fully operational.

Benazir Bhutto's political party has named her 19-year-old son as its symbolic leader and put her husband, Asif Ali Zardari in charge. Zardari was accused of massive corruption when he served in his wife's cabinet in the 1990s. Anchor Lisa Mullins examines the controversy with Iftikhar Malik, author of the forthcoming book "A History of Pakistan".
