And we're back. This week's podcast features a report from a school in Nigeria where children are taking OLPC's XO-1 laptop for a test run. We'll also discuss whether bloggers are the new foreign correspondents. Then, to Italy where one company is giving people a chance to download their favorite holy images to their cell phones. And we'll finish with a look at a new theory of everything that comes courtesy of a physicist who spends as much time riding the waves as he does thinking Big Thoughts.

Host Marco Werman gets the answer from Jon Bowermaster who is planning a 5 -week kayak trip on the Weddell Sea starting in January to study the impact of global warming on the sea ice there. Its part of the OCEANS 8 project to explore the health of the world's seas.

The World's Jason Margolis reports on what could be in store for Bangkok in the not so distant future. Thailand's capital is built on swampland, and it's sinking. It also lies next to where a major river meets the ocean. Climate experts worry the city could be completely flooded by the expected rise in global sea levels.
