The makeshift bombs have caused about 40 percent of American deaths during the war. Now troops have made progress in trying to derail the devices.

The World's Jason Margolis reports that Iraq's Interior Ministry today revoked the license of the American security contractor Blackwater USA. The move follows an incident involving Blackwater in which Iraqi civilians were shot dead.
