For today's Geo Quiz, we were looking for a city in the foothills of the Cariboo Mountains in Canada. The answer is Williams Lake, British Columbia. People in that part of Canada is hoping that this coming winter will be a frigid one. That's because a deep freeze is what's needed to kill off a tiny predator that's been eating away at their forest: the mountain pine beetle. The World's Andrea Crossan has more.

Producer Claudia Villa tells the story of a teenager named Edgar, who entered the United States illegally from Mexico three years ago. Edgar wrote his story down for a local radio station in northern California. Then he disappeared. But he left behind a 20,000-word manuscript about his journey.

Anchor Lisa Mullins tells us about a new Iranian TV drama called Zero Degree Turn. The show is opening up a new world for some Iranians, the world of Judaism. The 22-episode program is set during World War II. It follows the lives of a Muslim man studying in France who falls in love with a French Jewish woman.

And President Vladimir Putin fired his entire cabinet and appointed a new Prime Minister.
