A hero for many Hmong immigrants is in custody in California, awaiting trial. He's suspected of masterminding a plot to overthrow the government in Laos. Vang Pao lead Hmong soldiers in the CIA-backed fight against communists in Laos during the Vietnam War. After the war, he helped tens of thousands of Hmong refugees resettle in the U.S., mostly in California, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Toni Randolph of Minnesota Public Radio has more on the story.
