Marco Werman speaks with Nigerian Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka about slavery. Britain abolished the slave trade two hundred years ago. It took many more years for slavery to truly end. But Soyinka says African slavery lives on in African countries like Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Sudan.

Sunday marks the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery in the UK. Britain is observing the anniversary, in part, by sending a pre-recorded message from Prime Minister Tony Blair to the site of one of the infamous slave castles in Ghana, West Africa. The World's Jessie Graham visited the castle recently and has this report.

Mystery surrounds the death of Bob Woolmer, coach of Pakistan's national cricket team. Hours after his team lost an important match in the Cricket World Cup in Jamaica, Woolmer was found injured in his hotel room. He died in a Jamaican hospital. Anchor Marco Werman gets more on the story from Patrick Kidd, cricket correspondent for The Times newspaper in Britain.

American journalist Brad Will was covering clashes between police and protestors in the Mexican state of Oaxaca when he was shot and killed there in October.
