Ivory Coast report (3:00)

The illegal disposal of toxic waste in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, resulted in eight deaths and made thousands of people sick. The ship that carried the waste has been detained. The World's Marco Werman reports that investigators are still trying to determine who is liable: a Dutch waste company, the Greek company that owned the tanker or the Ivorian company that unloaded the waste.


California/China workers reports (10:30)

The World's Jason Margolis reports on a US company that was fined by the state of California for exposing workers to dangerous levels of arsenic. The company has moved its factory to China. Worker protection laws are less strict there. The World's Mary Kay Magistad has that part of the story from Beijing.


Arab-Israeli report (4:30)

As Israel hands out aid in the northern part of the country to towns and villages that were hit by Hezbollah rockets, four towns find they're getting a far lower rate of compensation. All four are Arab towns, and an Arab Israeli lawyer says that's no coincidence. Matt Guttman reports.
