Today's Geo Quiz brings some much-needed comic relief. A refugee camp in the Democratic Republic of Congo is about the last place you'd expect to see some clowns.
But that's where the Spanish charity "Clowns without Borders" sent some of its members. They're there to entertain thousands of refugee children. These are kids whose families have been forced to flee their homes by years of fighting in Congo.
Refugee camps have been set up around the country to assist these internally displaced families. Several camps are located near a town in the eastern part of the country. And that's the town we're looking for.
It's near the shores of Lake Kivu --- and its right next to the Rwandan city of Gisenyi. We'll have the answer -- and tell you more about the clowns -- in just a bit.
