For today's Geo Quiz we're bound for the Alps. The Alps are one of the great mountain ranges of Europe.
They stretch from Austria and Slovenia in the east, all the way through Italy and Switzerland then rise up in France.
Mont Blanc is the highest peak. The Matterhorn (on the border between Switzerland and Italy), may be the most recognizable.

But don't let this throw you off track, because on the other side of the world, there's another impressive mountain range called the Alps.
Which Alps are these? That's the question.
They too have snow covered peaks - in fact one section is called the Snowy Mountains. There you'll find Mount Kosciuszko the highest mountain on the continent soaring up over 7,000 feet.
It was named in honor of a Polish-Lithuanian General. These Alps form part of what's called the Great Dividing Range.
