The speckled predators once roamed across the Middle East and Central Asia, all the way up into Kazakhstan and down into India. Now Asiatic cheetahs only roam within and near the province of Yazd.

“Its enormously arid, with incredible gravel plains with sheer rocky massifs, rocky mountains coming up out of nowhere and when I first landed there it was habitat that I thought a cheetah couldn't possibly exist in, because its nothing like the sweeping green grassy plains of the Serengeti or the Masai Mara (a large park reserve in south-western Kenya).”

This dry rocky land of Yazd is a province of an Islamic Republic. That's the place we want you to identify.
