A town in south-western Scotland is on our Geo Quiz radar today. This town's sometimes called the "Queen of the South." It lies near the River Nith -- which in turn empties into the Solway Firth.

That's a large bay that forms part of the border between Scotland and England. The town we're looking for is where you can find the Globe Inn. Poet Robert Burns once downed a few pints there.
In fact, this town is where Robert Burns is buried. There's a 17th century castle in town as well.
A masterpiece by Leonardo Da Vinci was last seen there -- before it was stolen 4 years ago. The painting has now been recovered.
