Today's Geo Quiz sends us to the reference section.
The Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World publishes its 12th edition today.
50 cartographers have been compiling data on new national capitals, changing coastlines, and swelling populations. The editor in chief says the 12th edition of the Times Atlas is different from the 11th.
"You would see change of different types throughout the world, there are new countries that have been formed since then, you would see evidence of evironmental and climatic change around the world and you'd also see evidence of vast economic growth in places like China and the rest of Asia."
Today's Geo Quiz will be a breeze to answer...if you've got a good atlas. We want you to come up with the two countries that each share land borders with 14 others.
Here's a clue: each of the two nations borders Kazakhstan, North Korea, and Mongolia.
Check your atlas if you're not sure.
