This city was home to surrealist painter Rene Magritte. He depicted men with bowler hats in some of his paintings. But Magritte isn't the only celebrated artist to hail from this city.

So too did the creators of Tintin and the Smurfs. They helped earn this place the nickname of "Comic City."
