For today's geo quiz, start by finding the SECOND largest country in the world. That's easy. Canada.
It comes in right behind Russia, which still holds the Number One spot. Canada's 10 provinces and three territories are bounded by the Pacific, Arctic and Atlantic Oceans. There's a lot of open space. Without many people. Canada has only 9 inhabitants per square mile. One way to cover all that open space is to travel by rail.
"You can take a train all the way from Vancouver across Canada all the way to Toronto, 3 nights four days, its an awesome journey, its one of the best known trips in the world!"
But it's a LONG ride.... across the snow capped Rockies, past majestic waterfalls, and through endless fields of tall swaying grass.
So we want to know how many provinces would you pass through, and how many miles would you travel, on this trans-Canadian trek?
This train's coming in, with the answers, in just a minute.
