Friday the 13th has turned out to be a memorable day in chess. The World Chess Championship going on in the Russian city of Elista reached a dramatic and tense conclusion. For three weeks Veselin Topalov and Vladimir Kramnik have battled it out on the chess board. We wanted you to tell us where these chess masters hail from.

Russian grandmaster Viktor Kramnik overpowered Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria in the final series of timed tie-breaker matches to win the World Chess Championship. Kramnik won two games and drew one to take the unified title.
