The band Hazmat Modine hails from New York City. But their music is from pretty much everywhere. There's Eastern European folk. There's some Jamaican reggae there. There's even a bit of Asian instrumentation. Listen to the opening track, for example. IT sounds as if the band crawled out of the Mississippi swamp to play for a Russian circus.
